«Helena Pallarés es una ilustradora de Zaragoza. Estudió Diseño Gráfico y Bellas Artes en Barcelona, Cuenca, Zaragoza y Praga y en la actualidad reside en París.
Su trabajo se caracteriza por un estilo muy reconocible que gira en torno al surrealismo, el dadaísmo y el arte naïf y en el que el collage se ha convertido en su principal herramienta de trabajo. Mediante esta técnica, esta ilustradora consigue construir un lenguaje único que habla por sí mismo de sueños y realidades oníricas imposibles haciendo uso del papel y la fotografía.
Ha trabajado en diversos medios- editorial, revistas, publicidad – con Flying Books Israel, The Black Tongue Review (EEUU) o Psychologie Heute (Alemania), entre otros. Desde el año 2014 compagina el desarrollo de su marca de artículos ilustrados con su trabajo en la agencia de ilustradores alemana ´Marsha Heyer´.»
«Helena Pallarés is an illustrator born in Zaragoza. She studied Graphic Design and Fine Arts in Barcelona, Cuenca, Zaragoza and Prague and she currently lives in Paris.
Her work distinguishes itself by a recognizable style which revolves around the surrealism, the dadaism and the naïf art. She uses the technique of the collage (digital and handmade) to create oneiric images using papers and old photographs.
She has worked in a varied media – book houses, magazines, advertising – with Flying Books Israel, The Black Tongue Review (USA) or Psychologie Heute (Germany), among others. At the moment she combines her work as a freelance illustrator and the german illustrator´s agency ´Marsha Heyer´ which she works with from 2014.»
