Hola, me llamo Anabel Herrero y soy ilustradora freelance orientada a la ilustración infantil y juvenil, algo que me apasiona y a lo que le dedico mucha pasión y cariño. Desde que terminé mis estudios en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Valencia compaginé trabajos de diferente índole con proyectos y encargos relacionados con la pintura y la ilustración hasta que en 2017 decidí dedicar todo mi esfuerzo al desarrollo de mi proyecto personal centrado en la ilustración editorial.
Actualmente he trabajado ilustrando para la editorial Babidi-bú “La aldea Ser” escrito por Xelo San Félix, “Soy Especial” y “¿Quién no lo es?” ambos escritos por Carmen Gloria Palma. También he colaborado ilustrando el libro juvenil “El enigma del Grafitero misterioso” escrito por Israel Campos y publicado por la Editorial Algar. Mis ilustraciones están trabajadas con herramientas digitales lo que combino con materiales y técnicas tradicionales que me permiten dotar a las imágenes de la calidez y sensibilidad que me gusta transmitir en ellas.
Hello, my name is Anabel Herrero and I am a freelance illustrator focused on children and youth illustration, something that I love and to which I dedicate a lot of passion and affection.
Since I finished my studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia I have combined different kinds of work with projects and commissions related to painting and illustration until 2017 when I decided to devote all my efforts to the development of my personal project focused on editorial illustration.
Currently I have worked illustrating for the publishing house Babidi-bú “La aldea Ser” written by Xelo San Félix, “Soy Especial” and “¿Quién no lo es?” both written by Carmen Gloria Palma. I have also collaborated in illustrating the juvenile book “El enigma del Grafitero misterioso” written by Israel Campos and published by Algar Editorial.
My illustrations are worked with digital tools which I combine with traditional materials and techniques that allow me to give the images the warmth and sensitivity that I like to transmit in them.
