Cruz Martinez

Cruz studied Fashion Design and was working as a designer while developing side art projects until 2008, when she decides to focus entirely on drawing and illustration. She, then, moves into New York to study at the School of Visual Arts and later on into London where she gets a Masters degree on Visual Arts and Illustration by the University of the Arts, London.
Her work has been exhibited in New York, London, Sydney or Madrid among other places. And she has been selected as one of the best female illustrators by the Australian publication Curvy.
She currently lives in between London and Madrid, teaches fashion illustration workshops at “Instituto Europeo di Design”, publishes in varied magazines and webs, and collaborates with designers and artists in all kind of creative projects.

Cruz estudió Diseño de Moda y trabajaba como diseñadora mientras desarrollaba proyectos de lado de arte hasta 2008, cuando decide dedicarse por completo a dibujo y ilustración. Ella, entonces, se traslada a Nueva York para estudiar en la Escuela de Artes Visuales y más tarde en Londres, donde consigue un grado de Maestría en Artes Visuales e Ilustración por la Universidad de las Artes, Londres.
Su trabajo ha sido expuesto en Nueva York, Londres, Sydney o Madrid, entre otros lugares. Y ella ha sido seleccionado como uno de los mejores ilustradores femeninos por la Publicación australiana Curvy.
Actualmente vive entre Londres y Madrid, enseña la ilustración de moda talleres en el “Istituto Europeo di Design”, publica en diversas revistas y webs, y colabora con diseñadores y artistas de todo tipo de proyectos creativos.
