Hi! I’m Mar. Ever since I can remember, drawing and painting have been my refuge and my way of expressing myself. As a child, I used to illustrate comics to tell stories with my friends. We lived adventures through drawing and shared those experiences with the community. Over time, I began improving my skills by teaching myself through books and resources. Eventually, people I knew started requesting my work, and that’s when I realized I could turn my passion for illustration into a way of life.
This journey led me to complete my studies at Escuela Da Vinci in Buenos Aires. Throughout the years, I’ve refined my craft, making my style more personal and unique with each project.
With over 10 years of experience, I’ve mainly worked on illustrating children’s books, but I’ve also been involved in editorial projects, personalized commissions, and any creative initiative that sparks inspiration. As a freelancer, I reached the top 10 on the Freelancer.com platform and was honored to be interviewed by Clarín, a major newspaper in Buenos Aires, where they highlighted my talent as an illustrator. These milestones opened doors to significant projects, including books published on Amazon that became bestsellers. Today, my work has reached clients all over the world.
One of my strengths is conveying emotions and clear narratives through the body language and facial expressions of my characters. My biggest inspiration is the talented Benjamin Lacombe, whose attention to detail and characters’ large eyes fascinate me. However, my style has its own unique personality that sets it apart.
I firmly believe that passion never ends. There’s always something new to learn, explore, and improve.
